How our guides are made
Last Updated
The guides on zolagroup.com are published by Zola Group, based at Unit No. 278, DMCC Business Centre, Level No. 1, Jewellery & Gemplex 3, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This page explains how the guides are written and checked.
How the guides are written
The guides are drafted with AI writing tools from official sources, such as the pages of the free zones, the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security. Each guide answers a question that founders ask when they set up or run a company in the UAE.
What is checked
Since late July 2026, automated checks refuse a new guide that states a fee, amount, percentage or date that the research behind it does not contain. They also refuse most changes to a guide that add a figure it did not state before. Figures that were already in a guide are not checked again automatically, and guides written before late July 2026 were not checked this way. The guides link to official pages, but not every figure has its own link. The guides are not reviewed one by one by a lawyer, a tax adviser or an immigration adviser.
Dates
Since 23 October 2026, the Updated date on a guide changes only when its content changes in a meaningful way or a fact is corrected. Before then, a smaller edit could also move it.
What the guides are not
The guides are general information. They are not legal, tax or immigration advice. Fees and rules change, so confirm a figure with the authority before you rely on it. For your own case, the Zola questionnaire shows your exact plan and price before you pay.
